Convergence is your problem, not color.. There are 3 seperate picture tubes projecting 3 seperate images on the screen material. Convergence aligns the 3 guns (picture tubes) usually the option is under MENU, and on mitsubishi, i believe it is under first time or initial setup. The object of alignment is to take the three seperate color crosshairs and line them up to have only 1 white crosshair. mitsubishi lets you do this 5 times, once in each corner, and the center. this gets the image straight and square all the way around

I would add to the above answer: if you have a DVD player you can use with the set, get a test DVD such as AVIA Guide or Digital Video Essentials
http://www.ovationmultimedia.com/avia.html
http://www.videoessentials.com/

These discs will have test patterns on them that are designed for convergence adjustment (these are patterns of white lines or a dot array). It is very difficult to get good convergence in all screen areas without them. In addition, you will get very good advice on how to get the best picture from your set.

to add to the above answer, if you need a cheaper solution and don't want to spend money on new calibration software like DVE or AVIA, try look for some THX certified DVD and use their THX optimiser to calibre your TV. The software are included in DVD like StarWars, Monster Inc and Toy Story...

I did mine and the result is great and more natural compared to i do it using own naked eyes....
