lip piercings are very easy to heal, if you take care of it correctly. first of all, it's best to have a hoop ring in the hole until it's healed (likeee 3 weeks?). when you take showers, wash the ring with fragrance free, antibacterial soap (like dial), and move the ring around so that the entire ring is soapy, and soap gets into the hole. afterwards, rub the piercing down with Bactine (a first aid agent, found in any drugstore) with a q-tip. i'd also strongly recommend you to use diluted listerine (50% listerine/50% water) after meals, swishing it in your mouth, to make sure the inside is clean. i'd only wash the ring once or twice a day, but feel free to use the bactine on it whenever you please. hope this helps!

very easily. first, remove the piercing very carefully from your lip. set the piercing into a trash bin. take the trash bin outside. do not put another piercing in your lip.
