The first-class technique to speed things up is to inform his wife he's having an affair. It is going to speed matters up in a direction you do not want, although. How have you learnt he doesn't love his spouse? Just on account that he told you? He's being dishonest with his spouse and children, so why do you suppose he is being sincere with you? If you loved him, you shouldn't have broken off the relationship, you should have just sat down and talked with him and tell him that he's moving a little to fast for you and that you want to take it slow. If he loves you like he say he does than he would slow down and take his time with you and he wouldn't want you to do something that you don't want to do

Don't let yourself be drawn into anything that you don't want. If he was too fast before, you need to make it VERY clear (preferably over the phone) that you are NOT ready for certain things. State it up front, that way he can't accuse you of being a tease. State it, and stick to it.

Nothing. What you did was right. You trusted your gut and followed your heart. It wasn't meant to be. You'll find another guy who will love you and respect your feelings by moving at your pace.
