mmmm.... well...... I would say... If same sex marriages are legal in England and Wales... then Northern Irelenad will be exactly the sasme, particularly as Northern Ireland is governed by England.

However Southern irelnad is a different question.

There are no Lesbians in Ireland, nor Gays. They just do not exist in catholic Ireland. Here is a good source of info.

ALSO - Ireland is NOT 99% Christian the previous comment is ridiculous. And most people do NOT consider lesbianism as immoral or a sin. That person obviously does not live in Ireland so just ignore the fundamentalist's rant.

Homosexuality is considered a sin in the Christian faith. Since Ireland is 99% Catholic, lesbianism is considered immoral and a sin. It is not allowed in Ireland for a woman to marry another woman.

Republic Of Ireland is a very Catholic orientated place and they don't have abortion their either so i'd say no. But who has to marry to be happy?
