and my boyfriend went to a fantasy football party and he's been there for 5 hours. Should I be mad because he told me he'd only be gone 2 hours and my day off was wasted?

no because those fantasy football parties take a really long time plus all the guys get into talkin sports.

If that situation was a rare happening, then you'll get over it,and if is not so rare, then I'd leave a nice note on the door and as greenstgrl said, head out with a brand new plan and enjoy this big planet. He'll likely be in better touch with you the next time, or else his heart may ache when what goes around comes back around. Love your hair.......

I wouldnt start a huge fight over it but i would still be mad. why should you sit around and wait for him. just tell him calmly that you dont appreciate it and if he's not going to follow through with his plans then to let you know ahead of time (and by that i mean at least a days notice) that way you can make other plans

It might be in your best interest to always have a backup plan when dealing with your boyfriend; don't sit around waiting and wasting your precious time; get out and go someplace with your friends or by yourself.

just let him know about youre dissapointment and ask him in the future to let you know the reality of his commitment to his friends over you he seems to be rather rude and this is probably a pattern that will persist do you want to endure this kind of treatment in the future? good luck on your time with him id say dump the jerk

Not cool because he told you he would do something and didn't follow through. That's my #1 pet peeve. Your boyfriend should be reliable.
