Can gall bladder surgery make your menstral cycle late?

i had my gall bladder out about four weeks ago. i still hurt occasionally from it, but my period is a few days late. could the surgery have something to do with it being late?

yep, stress of any significance can cause your period to be late. I think your surgery qualifies as stress.

Any stress can interfer with your period. Your body is busy healing & that tends to make menstruation less important.
