Hi, Hannah,
Rather than trying to figure out how the ask him what he is thinking, why don't you tell him how you feel? You have plenty of opportunity...
>>>>>
Also, you could mention to him that you would be very happy if he would say the nice things to you... but that you understand how it might be uncomfortable for him to do it.... Maybe he'll take the hint.... ;D
Whatever you do : don't rush things..take one step at the time..
>>>>>>
I wish you "both", the best of luck!;)
Don't be shy.. go for it... ;)

My regards!;)

What is the problem? I don't really see a problem. You guys both like each other so what is the deal. Just go over and talk to him. Find out what he likes and talk about that. Then suggest that you two hangout or something.

Talking is very much over rated as a form of communication-
Close your eyes and let your lips and hips and other parts tell him how you feel!

If I was in your shoes, I guess I'll just go all out and let him know before I regret doing so. I know its hard... but the positive side of that is overcoming your fear! Just do it and then see how it'll go from then on =).
