so they won't be destroyed by your kids popsickle sticky hands, mistreatment, etc. I'm on my forth copy of "The Incredibles". I've heard about video vault but you need some program called dvd43 or something like that? please any help would be great. Thanks

There isn't any software to legally backup DVD's. This is because the MPAA blocks any software from making copies by saying that it is breaking encryption. Any software that will make a backup copy is pretty much illegal.

The encryption is CSS (not the web CSS) and the law saying you can't break encryption is the DMCA (Digital Millennium Act) if you want to learn more about it.

Basically, the MPAA wants you to have to pay for every copy of the DVD you own, even if is destroyed by sticky hands, because they are greedy.
