I have braces and have this kind of pain especially when I get my braces adjusted. I've used Tylenol (I'm sure Advil will work too) and then avoided eating anything that will make it hurt more. I stuck to soup and when they started feeling better I cut up my food so I don't have to bite into it. As for anything natural, I think there are homepathic remedies for pain you can get at natural food stores, but they probably won't work as well as Tylenol or Advil.

Depending on where you live, a county hospital that has an oral surgery department should have a free clinic that does extractions. You should check to see if there is one in your area. If not for free, there should be clinics for low-income patients that charge a small nominal fee for that procedure. You could also try to see if there is a dental school in your area, where you drop in as an emergency patient for a fee to have your teeth extracted. Hope that helps

Put ice between your thumb and forefinger.I read it in a doctors book of home remedies, thought it was crazy but already tried everything else, so when in pain you get desperate.Surprisingly enough it worked.Hope it works for you as well!

It isn't natural I guess, but Ora gel which they put on baby's gums will help. In that same area in the pharmacy, there are other produces which help some. Call your orthodontist and ask.

brushing with anbesol works - albeit a little basty tasting., you could also get non-medicated orthodontic relief wax from your orthodontist, you can rinse with warm salt water, or use over the counter pain meds like motrin, tylenol or whatever

I can recommend Vanilla Essence, a few drops on the effected area -it works, and does not taste dreadful.

Did you try anbusol? If you just take some ibuprofen with food, you will feel much better, it's only temporary & it won't hurt you.
