Yes, I agree, but it works both ways; I have often reiterated on this forum that it's not what you say, but HOW you say it, or ask it. This is true of both sides of the equation. Most people respond in kind, depending on the temperature of the question.

"A poverty of the mind" is an attitude; even academically grounded people can be aggressive and disrespectful in asking and answering questions.

Are you suggesting everything hinges on the "approach" of the matter? Because if you're not, then I disagree.

People here are outright insulting and push all the buttons! More than that, a debate is not a 'monologue.' How many here can 'dialogue' the immigration debate?
