you have to make yourself do it for the first few weeks. You have to make time to work out. Just think about all the good you are doing for your body. If you need rewards, count 2 weeks from tomorrow and write on your calendar a reward for you...something like a new purse, new make up, massage (get the idea) and when you've reached 2 weeks and HONESTLY done the work for those 2 weeks, treat yourself. Next go for 3 weeks and then a treat....soon you will be so motivated by the way you feel when you are working out that you crave it and you won't have to treat yourself.

Good luck..If you need encouragement contact me......

First thing you need is to not get too lazy to communicate correctly. You need to follow the rules that any second grader has to follow. You need to capitalize correctly and use zeros where appropriate and not o as a substitute. You need a space between 20 and lbs. Do you do exercise help? Or do you get lazy doing exercises and you are asking for me to help you not to get lazy doing exercises? Use commas when needed. You need to do this right or not at all. It is deplorable the way people write their questions. It is like an Ebonics commercial to attract dropouts for their Democratic Party votes.

What you need for motivation is a real hot aerobics class with very athletic instructors who sweat intensely and who really care about your health. You will lose 30 to 40 pounds within three months. You will eat right and you will be happier. Now make some effort when you try to communicate verbally so people can understand what you want.

I know exactly how you feel!!! The same thing happened to me... The thing is, you need motivation!!!! without it, you're sunk! I have an idea.... is there something you really want to do? or something you want??? why don't you pay yourself $10 everytime you go to the gym... that money adds up, and you can buy yourself that purse you've been eyeing... Or, change your food habits to help you move along... I know you dont see results now, thats why you're not motivated, but i went to the gym for 17 days in a row (i was shocked....) and then 12 weeks from the start date, i was results!! i mean i was like DANG! so in 12 weeks, you'll see a thinner you! imagine wearing that beautiful bikini in front of all those hott guys... then u wont regret it... have a bf? tell him to motivate you...or, sign up for a class at a gym. you'll make friends there and they'll remind you to come!! now up up up you dont lose 20 lbs from sitting on the computer!!! in 12 weeks, you'll look and feel better... and weigh much less!!! (hope i helped... ive beeen through this stuff and total, i've dropped about 20 lbs myself!)

Listen, healthy wieght begins with diet. I for one
as a Nutrition Expert do not advocate counting calories
or any of that junk. What you need is a diet that is natural
to what the body ACTUALLY NEEDS.

check out all the info you can on Weston A Price.
You will be amazed.

Or for a specific website http://www.westonaprice.org/index.html

Also get your hormones tested by a health professional
by Saliva analysis ONLY. Do not do the blood tests.
If they find you have a glandular deficiency/hormone
problem you need to go on some Natural Glandulars
which are not hard to find. Any health food store wil
carry these.

Many people who are overweight and have a hard time
losing are usually hormonally imbalanced.

Also as far as exercise goes i am all for anerobic exercise
I dont like aerobic exercise as they oxidate the body.
I would suggest going to your local park if you have one
and see if they have any women sport teams. It will
be more fun because you will be connecting with
people, that and its free!

Good luck to you

I am 27 and I am trying to lose about the same amount of weight. I work full time, am a wife, and I have a three year old son. I try to drink lots of water and watch what I eat. I also have been dancing a lot using my mp3 player. It is a great way to exercise with out feeling like you are exercising. Good Luck!!

Sometime you have to talk with yourself seriously. Ask yourself why you feel lazy. You are yourselves enemy. start slow, it takes time. First 20 min a day than gradually add more time. If you do it regularly, you will have the feeling that you want to do exercises but not you have to.
Join a gym, there is no weather limitation and a lot of classes and program will help you out.
Good luck.

Sorry..but there is no other way to do it but watch what you eat and exercise. Try to find a friend to exercise with, or join a gym, being around others that are working out will help motivate you. Good luck!

Join the club...I have no motivation...I don't know what's wrong with me. Once you put your mind on it and really want to loose the weight then you will...it's how bad you want to lose the weight. Loose it slowly so you don't gain it back.
Good Luck

Listen to music.

This ALWAYS gets me pumped up. Get some fast songs, or songs that really hit-home, and just make you want to run. Once you get up for a good run, you feel so good, you sit there and think to yourself: "Why not lift a few whights?"

It sounds a little dumb, but try it. Get some lists of songs you know inside-out and put them on a playlist, and get going.
Then, everytime you hear the song, you feel like moving again.
