I have been a mechanic for years, can't do it anymore for a living due to health reasons. needing to replace a stereo in my 1995 Dodge caravan. The wires are color coded in a totally different way than I have ever seenall I need to know is which one is the pos., and neg. and memory the rest I have figured out. but not doing this anymore for a living and never done this on a mopar, I just don't know haor the coding is and do not have access to alldata or mitchell on demand. thanks for any help

The easiest, and best way to do that is to buy an adapter kit that plugs into the wiring harness. Rather than cutting the harness, you install the kit on the radio and just plug it in. This allows you to do your wire splices on the bench, where you have a much easier time of doing it correctly, and also leaves the harness intact in case you decide to change back to a factory style stereo in the future!
