I agree with him, it's also not worth one Iraqi life either.

There are 177,000 other Marines that will disagree. No one wants to see their fellow Americans, or anyone else die. Sacrificing for the greater good of your country is what being a Marine is all about. I am sorry he feels that way but should of considered it before he signed up.
"All wars are horrible its the nature of the activity. This soldier knew what he was doing when he enlisted. He took the enlistment bonus, went thru the training and accapted his role. Now he doesnt like it?.....its how it is and he has a job to do. Noone said it would be a picnic. As far as CNN goes if you interview enough people you can find anyone to tell you what you want to hear."
First of all, he is a Marine, not a Soldier. And to be fair, he probably didnt get an enlistment bonus, that is for Soldiers. And if he did it wasnt a very big one.

Everyone who joins military is not a natural hero. Some join for wrong reason. One soldier sitting in one spot in Iraq could not have a clue as to how the war is going & why he is asked to do certain things. he is a soldier in a chain - one link & a shame he is a weak link. It is 118 degrees, yes I am sure it seems horrible most days - that is why they say "war is h*ll".

Has CNN ever produced and aired a story that didn't make the military or the president look bad? I think maybe CNN has a contract with the insurgents and OBL.

I searched CNN.com and found no such story. Before a reporter is allowed to talk to military personnel, they have to go through channels. They'd probably refuse any sort of interview like that. FYI....there's always going to be at least one person that doesn't agree with what's going on, but before you find that person, you'd have to go through probably 20 or more who believe in what they're doing.

It's CNN, of course they are going to get someone to say something negative about the war. I have yet to hear one positive thing from CNN about it.
