I was 19 years old and I was not ready at all. I suggest you wait until you know that you love the person and have a committed relationship...preferably marriage.

I was 16 and in love with this boy two years older than me. When I look back, my age doesn't really come into it but he fact that I adored this boy and he adored me, is what is important, I have no regrets and it always makes me smile to remember it.

I have had many lovers since then and did not end up with this boy, but am glad that I can look back with good feelings about it. I guess my message is don't rush into it but do it when it feels right, he might not be the love of your life but it is a rite of passage and one that should be memorable for all the right reasons.

Thanks for the memory, I got my photo album out and looked at him for the first time in years, it made me smile. :}

I haven't yet. But I am waiting until I graduate from high school, because the potential and responsibility of all those things that come with sex have no place in my life right now.

unlike most people out there, i think it is very important to wait. some people jus go and have sex because everybody else does, but i dont think thats the right thing to do. you should wait to do it with someone u truly LOVE.

I was seventeen.
As for waiting...Don't just have sex to get it over with, but if you feel you are ready, then do it. Just be safe about it.

BTW the first time isn't like in the movies... It's a drag. Just so you know.

I was 15, he was 22. It felt right at the time (and the sex was very good), but in hindsight I now think he was a bit of a perv and I find it quite creepy.

i think that it is very important to wait till its with some one you feel really comfortable with otherwise you could end up making a big mistake and even recking your confidence.
