Someone who will follow through with their job. During elections, many people will try to win a vote by promising things that they can't deliver (a jukebox in the cafeteria, lunch off campus, etc). If you are running for office, let the school know that you are willing to listen to their ideas and present them to the school administration. Tell them that you will work hard for them and be a positive person. I know that SCA elections are usually a popularity race, but stand up for what you believe in and let others know that you are willing to work hard for the school and the students.

I'd look for someone who is reliable. They don't neccessarily need to be popular but they should be friendly and a good speaker. They should be pursuasive so they can convince your teachers and others to support the students. They should be creative and just have a good pesonality. They should respect other people and their thoughts and opinions and still stand up for what they believe in. But most importantly they should know when to chillax and when to be serious. Hope I helped!!

How attractive the person looked-their smile, neatness, sense of style. What their platform was---what they could do for the school. Whether their goals were realistic or not and whether they would be an overall benefit to the school and to the students :)

Remember that it's not a popularity contest. It's about who has the time to do the job they are voted into, and who seems to really care about the school & doesn't want to do it just to be popular.
