Was this not foretold? Didn't Jesus say that the hearts of man would grow cold? Are we not seeing this come to pass?
Those who don't believe don't realize that there is more going on than what we see. But how in their logical mind would want to accept that they are not what they think? If one thinks that they are a good person and God's Word tells us otherwise would that not be enough. But still there is more, many can't understand what they can't see, touch, or feel. They can't understand faith, for faith to the believer is the evidence of things not seen. Just because they can't see it they don't believe, but still there is more. For the power that is of this world makes it easy to be blinded.
There is true evil and many don't want to face that. To face it would mean they would have to accept that there is also forces of good or God. That they don't want to accept, to them it is not logical. Yet the things of the spirit are not logical to the minds of men. It is more that just our children but the minds and hearts of all. Bloch out God and there is not longer good or evil, each gets ti choose what is good or evil by their own standards, and who could feel bad about that?
It is a choice that each one of us has to make on our own, to believe or not, to accept or not, and no matter what we all will stand alone and answer for each of our choices. Doesn't matter what we think is logical now.

I believe in God and all his miracles I've seen then and heard about them... also I try to live my life by the bible and its no wonder where all our blessings come by doing so. The thing is, there is a BIG difference in being faithful to Jesus Christ as our lord and Savior and being ina "Religion"... religion is made by man to keep us occupied by doing the "right" thing but I do say this, no where in the bible does it say join a religion, cult,or a believer's club! It simply has 10 commandments to live life by.
Being Christian is NOT a religion it is a way of living! A personal relationship with our Lord and Savior.

The expanded explanation with your question makes it seem very non-serious. I don't believe in "God" but I do not really care what anyone else believes. That is kind of the point of non-believers - we don't care to hear about your God. I have "Church Nuts" from all religions knocking on my door all the time to tell me to believe. I have never had a non-believer knock and want me to stop or start anything. Don't bring up religion - ever - to anyone else outside your "church" and no-one will try to talk you out of your belief as they will not know you have one. Simple solution - HUH.

I would like to see believers stop worshipping god because there is no evidence of a god. None. There is plenty of evidence to explain, purely in a bio-electrochemical basis how precisely it is that human beings have religious experiences, to the point that neurologists can reproduce every single reported type of mystical experience in the laboratory.
I believe that the more people stop dancing around things they can't prove, the better off society will be. America is about to lose its status as a super power because we have fallen behind on every measure of mathematical and scientific understanding, and with that we lose the very innovation that set us astride the world as a mighty collosus, able to bring peace and democracy wherever we saw the chance.

I cannot see how Athiests convincing you to not believe in God would lead to them selling you crappy stuff. That's like the underpants gnomes on South Park.
Step 1: Steal Underpants.
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit!
As for me, I don't care what you believe. But what I do care about is people trying to turn your beliefs into my laws. Don't try to make me follow the rules of a religion I'm not even a part of.

You're confused. Most non-believers could care less what you'd like to believe. What ticks them off is when the "believers" push their dogmatic drivel on the rest of society.
We don't want our children taught baseless and completely un-scientific "theories" in SCIENCE class. We don't want legislation on a local or national level influenced by religious fundamentalists. We don't want you knocking on our doors, trying to pawn off your silly pamphlets as the "word of God". We're sick and tired of hearing zealots damn us to an imaginary place called Hell because we don't hold the same spiritual beliefs as them. We're tired of rotten people with zero sense of morality judging us by our non-belief in their "God" and not our actions.
As for selling cheap goods to your children, I'm really not sure what you're talking about. try harder to be a responsible parent instead of blaming your lack of skill and attention on "non-believers".

I believe you're incredibly insecure in your own beliefs, whatever those may be. If you're afraid of mine or anyone else's opinions, thoughts and/or beliefs then you're not the type of person who's footsteps I'd want to follow in. And yes, you talk to much so shaddup and go take a nap.

I honestly don't think they want us to stop worshipping God. They merely want respect for their decision to not believe in and/or worship God. They do not want beliefs which they do not share pushed down their throats, any more than YOU want beliefs which you do not share pushed down yours.
I honestly do not believe that all non-believers are trying to sell filthy products. If profit was all they were interested in, then they would simply begin to sell religious goods to religious people. I do believe you are oversimplifying, but you are entitled to your opinion on the matter.

Imagine how you would feel if you had believed in something that was untrue, and someone showed you the light - They showed you how to apply critical thinking skills and acquire a rationally supportable worldview. You would be eternally grateful to that person for helping you to see things clearly, and you would certainly be glad that they had made the effort on your behalf.
That's what we're here for - To be the voice of reason.

First of all I do not want to take you away from your God. I have my Gods and you have yours. I don't care if you believe in mine or not. That is not yours to deal with just as you believing in your God is not mine to deal with. Secondly, we don't sell cheap stuff to anyone. We don't sell filthy things either. We don't make and sell anything actually. Some people in my religion do sell things but they are not cheap or filthy. Some of the people in my faith have businesses in that you wouldn't even know they don't follow your God. I don't know where you get off telling people that people who don't believe in your God make cheap and filthy goods.

As a non-Christian I feel the need to inform you that I would NEVER want anyone to turn away from their religion or spiritual beliefs to worship me.
