First things first......YOU have got to want to quit! You can't do it for someone else. Once you are ready, there are plenty of stop smoking aids......I found the patch very helpful.
You should probably look at what your triggers for wanting a ciggy are....after a coffee, before breakfast during your break at work. Change as many of your routines as you can, instead of a coffee, go for a walk. Instead of taking your break outside sit in the staff lounge and read a book.
You should also rely on the moral support of friends & family. If you feel the urge to light up....call someone & talk your way thru the urge.
Good luck & think of what you could spend all that money you save by not smoking on!

I quit when i had a cold. I couldn't smoke for a couple of days and so i figured i've already gone this far, why not keep going.
I think going cold turkey is the way to go... also, if you're out and you think "i'll just smoke one" then you need to know, it's all over then!

In order to quit, the desire must be there. Deliverance, from an addiction is a victory. Have a backbone, without the wishbone mentality. I know it isn't easy, yet, I also know it can be done. I'm doing it !!
