Babalu rushed Chuch and hit him with a good one but Chuck being the counter puncher that he his hit Babalu with a good right hand while back peddling. It staggered Babalu and Chuck took advantage of it.
The fight with Silva is not going to happen. Damn that Dana for getting our hopes up.
By the way Matt Hughes is no longer fighting Georges St. Pierre due to a torn groin suffered by GSP. Hughes is now getting his rematch with B.J. Penn. I hope Hughes pounds B.J. this time.

Yes he did. He beat Babalou by KO during the 1st round about 95 seconds in. He'll be fighting Wanderlei Silva in Nov.

Ya he pounded him pretty good. So hard in fact Babalou started trying to grapple Big John McArthy cuz he didn't know what was going on anymore

Yeah it sounds like the liddell silva fight fell through. You should have heard ortiz making jokes about liddells gut. I wonder if he was laughing at his gut when chuck was beating him sencless in there last fight?

he didnt just win. he humiliated babalu. it was the worst fight he has ever had, poor guy. GO CHUCK!!! keep stompin a** and hell go through silva too. it wont be easy. but he hasnt been challenged enough lately.

actually I heard pride and the ufc couldnt agree on terms for the liddell/silva fight so instead he will be defending his title againt tito ortiz
