I have two cats that talk non stop. Like they're announcing everything they are doing. One's solid white and the other is orange with bib and socks.
I have heard that about Siamese though.
I talk back to mine and they'll respond. Maybe they think they are getting their point across. I find it endearing.

Some breeds of cats are more talkative than others. Siamese are notoriously chatty.
Have you considered getting her a brother or sister? Perhaps they'll have some nice conversations, and leave you alone for a while.
Or then, again, maybe they'll BOTH gang up on you, and you'll never get any quiet.
P.S. If you haven't done so already, make sure you get her spayed. The banshees take wailing lessons from Siamese queens in heat. They will literally yowl and cry until their voices give out......or until you give in, and let them out the door....

Pretty much. She gets worse if I ignore her. The best tactic I've found is to call her over, pet her for 5-10 minutes and then she'll leave me in peace for a while. Sometimes it's a couple of hours, and other it's less then 10 seconds. But that's just Siamese cats for you.

I don't have a Siamese, but I have a cat that talks constantly - I found that if I talk back to him, it confuses the hell out of him and he will be quiet for a while.

I thought that my Siamese was the only one to do that! Mine is
3 months old. His Name is MAJOR, for Major pain in the A**. My husband got him for me and he is soooooo mean, you walk by him and he will bite you for no reason at all. If you don't give him his treats ( HUSBANDS FAULT) he will bite you. I know when he starts talking it's because there is a female in the area and he is a MAN he want to go and get some. I called the Vet to see why he does this, they said that when they find out what is out there they want to be like other cats and go out side. My husband paid $350.00 for him so no way would i let my cat out side. The vet said that there is no way for him to stop in less you take out his voice box. SOOOO mean to do that but some people will just so they don't have to listen to the talking. You only have two choices deal with it or don't.

that's what siamese cats do.... they talk.
I had a siamese linx cat that was a demon. I would go on a business trip for 5 days and she would ignore my wife! Wouldn't talk to her at all.
Then, when I'd get back, she (the demon pussy), and I would talk for hours. It would infuriate my wife and I loved it !!!
Siamese cats will generally bond to one person. Talk to her in cat language and she will bond to you. (but treats help). Close your eyes part way and do a meow/purr sound. meow back to her like you mean it but make nice sounds not loud MEOW sounds. imitate her sounds back to her. she will love you.

I had a solid gray cat who would meow meaningfully every time I said her name. It would go on till I gave up! She really thought we were communicating.
