He certainly did and the people of that time wrote about it all
as He did so many healings and miracles they'd never seen
before. He surely did die on the cross and better than that,
He rose from the dead (which no other "god" ever did) and
there are witnesses to the fact that they even saw Him after

I absolutely believe He came down to earth and had to suffer and die for our sins. What greater love can one have?
I think the reason people are allowed to criticize Christians more than any other religion is cuz godless people get a bigger kick out of that than with any other religion. Let's see... if they criticized say, Islam, perhaps they'd be in big trouble. That's a politically correct no-no. But Christianity? Go for it!

Jesus never said respect someone's religion. He did say you will have no other gods before me. Therefore I will not respect their religion. I will be hated for it, but Jesus was hated first. Jesus did say that we should be the salt and the light meaning show the person that they are wrong in what they believe and to show them the right path to salvation.

I agree with u that everyone must respect the others religions, and i believe in Jesus but i don't believe he came to earth to die on the cross for us.

Yes I believe in Jesus. I don't know why people critisize what others believe. I would never do that to someone of another religion. It's inconsiderate.

Honey, if you want people to take your questions seriously, you need to use correct English. And Jesus and God should be capitalized!! It's disrespectful not to capitalize their names.
Yahoo! Answers is a forum for discussion. Most people are able to discuss religion, faith, beliefs, etc. without resorting to insults. If it's bad enough, then you can always report them for a rules violation.

Yes I DO believe Jesus came to PROVE one very important thing to people - that the MESSAGE is more important than the most important of all the messengers. I think we should therefore pay attention to that message. Jesus was not the only messenger, but he was still God's messenger.

Yes, I believe, and I agree that people should have more respect for those who do believe, the way I try to respect and not pass judgement on those who do not believe.
