I am a Christian and I don't believe the bad things people say about your religion any more than I want others to think bad things about my religion. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE realize that the people who say bad things in the name of Christianity do so because of their own issues that have nothing to do with the religion they profess to follow. People will always find a reason to hate, but it has nothing to do with Jesus.

I guess I never thought those things. I realize that Muslims honor Moses and Jesus as prophets of God/Allah, and don't worship Mohammed but rather praise him as Allah's prophet. I realize that it was through Mohammed that God delivered the Quran. I've also heard that the Quran is more of a series of poems and stories that convey the basic precepts of Islam. I have never read a copy of the Quran, so I cannot be sure. One reason, I think, that people say that the Quran orders Muslims to kill non-Muslims is that some militants read that in the holy book. In other words, there does not seem to be one true way to read and interpret the Quran, so some people read the Quran and see reasons to use violence, and others (thankfully most) read the Quran to mean 'be devout, but respectful of others'. But some people are small-minded and ignorant. Be strong, and not full of hate in the face of this.

Not looking into other religions does not mean you aren't sure that yours is correct. Most of us are sure we are human without going to the zoo. Comparison just helps assure or confirm your thoughts.

Many Jewish scholars have recommended to establish good reasoning why one believes in his faith rather than relying on simple acceptance. Why that is a noble trait, it is difficult to stand against the troubles and questions of life, hence their above recommendation. Researching other religions, however, is a dangerous line for the simple danger of being influenced (but not outright forbidden completely and to everyone. We recognize it is evil to murder yet there are many terrorists in the world who are convinced they are right. A person could be convinced of wrong, therefore should be causious about what he allows to be influenced of. I think this is very logical. I have been shown various pages of the Quran and the translation it had did not seem to have a positive image of Jews.

As you are a Muslim and probably won't accept this I'll still say this since I don't believe Muhammad was the prophet. Many Muslims mention how the Quran speaks highly of Jews and other parties. This may be true, as well as the fact that it also speaks negatively. Then they go on to say that it doesn't really mean bad things and so on. I've read that Muhammad wrote highly of Jews at first to get them to accept the Quran. When they remained steadfast to Judaism he wasn't too happy and wrote negatively of them. You can accept it or not.

I am one of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses. I have learned about your religion by reading a publication put out by our orginization entitled "Mankind's Search For God" This publication helps us to understand the various beliefs around the world. I realize that there are alot of misconceptions about your belief and mine. I know that you do belive in Jesus and that he was a great prophet, while we recognize him as the Messiah who was sent by the only true God as a ransom for mankind.Mark 10:45
We recognize that you do not "worship" Mohammed, but I would like to also say that we do not belive in Christendom's trinity doctrine. Like you we belive that there is only one true God and the one he sent forth his son Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke of the comforter, showing that it is not a person and that it would remind his disciples of all the things that Jesus had taught them, rather than introduce a new religion John 14:26 Where do you get your information about "christians?" Are you allowed to read the Bible? Have you ever spoke with one of Jehovah's Witnesses? Have you ever been to a Kingdom Hall?

I get my info on Islam and christianity from my 9th grade world history class. No, I can't read about other religions or change, and I know you believe in Moses, and are monotheistic, and actually, living under your laws was a whole lot better than most christian countries in the Middle Ages. What's happening now, is a different story.

The Bible tells me what I need to know. God says do not have any other gods or idols before me therefore i will not read the Quran. Everything started with God not Islam or Mohammed or anyone else. Check your history.

It does somewhat yet I on no account enable it disillusioned me. What does complication me is whilst human beings say issues like "oh Judaism and Christianity are so comparable they are in certainty the comparable." Like carry on and take a step back with me for a minute. Jew's have self belief Jesus became no longer the Messiah stunning? Christian's have self belief the only thank you to get into heaven is to certainly have self belief Jesus became the Messiah and died for his or her sins stunning? how the heck is that even on the fringe of being the comparable? i assume you basically might desire to chuckle approximately it and circulate on, human beings would be ignorant regularly. Peace Out and God Bless :)

first of I am free to read anything I want. My I do not impose any barriers on my knowledge.

as for Islam I personally think its a fine religion superior to Christianity almost every way.

the only thing that upsets me is how your people have used your religion as an excuse to cause violence and conflict.

theologically I have no problems with Islam, but practically I am forced into conflict.

Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians. If you haven't spoken with them, then you do not understand what the Bible really teaches.
