I mean, think about it, a little girl is found on the courner dead of starvation. Everyone scratches their head and says' "Why did God let this happen?" ' Then have the audacity to go on about how He is a cruel God and unfair, unjust, ....anything to cover up their own lack of effort toward making this world a better place.
Isn't it just easier to blame Him than to help HIm?
What if God is looking at the billions of us walking around down here and asking Himself, "Why did they let that happen, there are billions down there and not one lifted a finger for the tiny bird?"
We ought to be in some pretty hot soup these days with Him but as usual He just keeps on forgiving and hoping.
Any thoughts here?

In my very humble opinion, I believe that people who say this don't completely understand God, and haven't taken the time to truly learn what the Bible teaches. Many take one passage from the Bible, out of context I might add, and try to make it something it isn't. For example, the passage "With God all things are possible." You can read a lot into that, take it to heart even, but this was taken completely out of the context in which it was given and the true meaning of it lost.

Another reason I think some people do this, is that they forget that God isn't the only supernatural being in this universe. There is also Satan, and Satan has demons. Their purpose IS to reak havoc on us humans, to try and turn us away from God by lying to us and deceiving us.

But God assures us that whenever something bad does happen, He will use it to bring good from it. "All things work for good to those who love God." And I can attest that good things do come out of the bad when we trust Him.

For those who think I'm being "simplistic" and don't understand a loss so great that one could blame God, I'll let you know that I've lost a child. An infant, actually. How much worse could something be in ones life, than to lose a child? Did I blame God? NO. I didn't ask "why". I believe that ALL things happen for a reason, and for eventual good. I don't believe in luck, or fate, or coincidence. A year after my sweet baby died, I learned by her autopsy why it was better for HER that she went to a better place.

In May we moved to a new apartment complex, into a brand new apartment. The first night we were there the master bedroom flooded. A week later the entire apartment flooded, and we had to move to another apartment. A lof of our things were damaged, and we were upset, frustrated, tired, overwhelmed, you name the emotion, we felt it. As compensation, the manager gave us a month's rent free. We put the money 'away'.

A few weeks later my son and his wife had to move unexpectedly, and didn't have the funds to. But, it just so happened that Mom and Dad had the money. And why? Because our apartment flooded. Had it not been for that happening, I don't know what our kids would have done, because we would not have had the money to help them.

And my entire life has been that way. Just when I think a situation can't get any worse, along comes the answer. I trust God to take care of my needs. He promised He would as long as I trust in Him. And He has never let me down.

God is allowing bad things to happen, but he is never the cause. Satan the Devil is to blame for mankinds problems and he challenged God's right to rule the earth, saying that mankind would not worship God if they were tested and put under trials. There are true Christians today who are proving Satan a liar and God promises to destroy Satan and his demons very soon and then Satan's challenge will have been answered once and for all. The Scripture found at Ezekiel 34:28 gives us this assurance: "And they(God's servants) shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid."
Also Psalms 37:9-11 gives this promise: " For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
All the injustice and suffering we experience now will soon be a thing of the past.

Because man does not want to take responsibility for his actions. It is easier to blame someone else especially GOD as the entity is not there to answer for it.

Accountability is a fact of life that we tend to forget or put aside. Let us do the bad deeds and then blame it on GOD that we were made to do these things. Is nt that easier?

Yeah you are right. If GOD were to come and start pointing fingers and putting people in jail or giving life and death sentences for all the criminal activities going on in the name of religion, how many do yu think would be in jail right now?

People are, very naturally, enveloped in their personal lives. (How many of us really think in terms of 100,000 years?) Our emotional needs are met in the here and now - by spouses, siblings, children, friends, etc. So, we think narrowly about our own lives, where these needs get met. But, from God's perspective perhaps a single lifetime is a miniscule blip, unnoticable. God knows and sees, but God sees from God's perspective: we blame God for treating our loved one so cruelly, but God was never the torturer, this realm was. And God has rescued our now-dead loved one for an eternity in paradise. Can we really compare paradise forever to the days or weeks or months that the suffering lasted? We don't see God's rescue; heaven is not here. We see only the suffering, and, undeveloped spiritually and egoistic, we blame God as author of the suffering.

why blame god? simple god sucks , "it" created everything so it is "its" own fault. If a creation sucks who you blame? the creation or its creator? Obviously its creator sucks! Its gods only fault for everything that happens, even a simple atom exploiting its god's fault. good this are gods fault too, but there is more bad things than good things..therefore...that thing called god is GUILTY of all the cruelty , evil , unhappiness, and suffering. God is the source of all unhappiness and not love as all this blind dumb humans think sugarcoating the truth cuz sound better or fear of facing reality....By the way its not humans lack of efforts, that's how they were made "shitty creation" made as slaved...when the creation is shitty>>>Its the creators fault>>>in this case "god". and humans begin irresponsible shows how similar they are to their creator...not much difference, imperfect and worthless....

An OMNIPOTENT entity is OMNIPOTENT. The entire world working in unison to prevent a little girl from staving can achieve less than an OMNIPOTENT entity can without even a thought. If people want to accept that god isn't omnipotent then by all means, but people don't want to accept that; they want to think their god can do anything and is all powerful. But that's either not the case, or god's just an asshole.

Granted, that doesn't make the rest of the world NOT assholes, but that's not the arguement. The arguement is that god, who has all the power and sacrifices nothing by using it, is an asshole.

Why do people attribute all good things that happen to them to god? Like people that came of their own free will and sacrificed their time, energy, and money to help Hurricane victims? People say "thank god for sending all those people to help."

And if someone happens to survive an auto accident they say "it's a miracle" or "god must have been watching over me."

If you're gonna give the guy all the credit for good things, and he does indeed have the power to affect them... he's gotta be accountable for some bad things too don't ya think?

When things happen to people, they are looking for someone to blame. It's not God's fault. It is man' s fault. God gave you choices. What ever choice you make, will be what you have to deal with. God let's man make his own choices. He never said there would never be any consequences to pay. Remember God did say: in Romans's 12:19 " Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath, for it is written: "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay says the Lord". God is a merciful and loving. But if you do wrong here on earth, you will pay for it in God's time.

Why do you pose a question for which you also pose the answer? The things that happen on this world are from people's own free wills, or lack of exercising them. It doesn't matter what religion you think you are, mankind is the answer to saving the world.

Religion is the opiate of the masses.

Not many. Just a general agreement.

These same people are the ones who say "If there was a God, then all these bad things wouldn't keep happening."

They don't seem to realize that if they want God to bless this world, or them, in their own lives, they have to accept Him & His plan for their lives. They want the benefits, just not the job.
