Funnel Cake is a main stay as american deserts. When we go to the State Fair. Funnel Cake with all the fixings. Since I was a little kid, funnel cake was the fun thing to get at sporting events and the state fair. Years later, funnel cake can stand the test of time, its a big mess with all the sugar and stuff but its one of life guilty pleasures.

Funnel Cake -- It is often served at an amusement park or local festive occasion. So it is an impulse item, something attractive, (obviously fattening) something we wouldn't eat everyday ... kinda like Cotton Candy at the Circus -- that's the appeal.

Wow, I've never had a greasy funnel cake... maybe I've just had them prepared properly.
I particularly like them with ice cream and strawberry syrup on top. I think it's the crispness of them.

Is it just me or is that weight watchers advertisement to my left distracting all of us today!!Maybe I only have it,whatever..I have not had one in ages,but funnel cake is as good as it gets,unless they have one with chocolate..that would be the ultimate..yummy!

i dont know. when i try to eat them, the grease makes me sick. but i guess it would be the fact that they are so bad for you and the feeling of indulgence.

It tastes and smells delicious, but the shape is what attracts me. It is sort of mysterious;you want to see what is inside of it.

idk, its yummy, easy to chew, you can pick at it, put a mounten of sugar on it, stuff like that. plus you can lick the sugar off your fingers
