Have you try to ignore those who you know make insults. I'm just like you. I cry at the slightest insults as well, especially this girl I knew in 5th grade. She would always make bad comments on me and tell some people bad things about me when they weren't true. So from then I ignored people especially that one girl that I know will make insults of me or other people. If someone does say something to you and you start to cry, just hold your head high and smile. That proves that you are a bigger and mature person than the insulter=)

Crying is good for you as it helps relieve stress. If you want to try to control it go in the bathroom where no one can see you. Wash your face and tell yourself that you are OK and can take a little insult. Think of a comeback you can use when someone insults you.

Sounds like you have some deep-seated hurts. I used to be ultra sensitive like you and became very emotional. I found myself a good counselor who helped me "go back" to find those hurts, realize the lies those people said, learn the truth about me and move on. Now, I can withstand those things that triggered my tears.
I went to a Christian counselor trained in Theophostic prayer.

Perhaps, my sensitive friend, you should see a therapist. It's okay to be sensitive but hypersensitivity can be a nuisance for you, right?. One good piece of news is that in time you should develop a thicker skin. Get a job in customer service...that'll do it.

Sweetie, this could be due to certain chemical make up in your brain. Take some 5-HTP supplement (You can find this in drug stores and some grocery stores) and can look it up on the internet for more info. This can boost your serotonin level and make you feel happier and less like crying.

When people insult you say. Im rubber your glue what ever you say bounces off me and sticks to you. You need to get thick skinned and not let what people say hurt you. If you feel the need to cry fight it be strong.

Pick one day each week and early in the morning think of something to make yourself cry. Then, cry all day and get it out of your system for the week. Be happy.
