From my experience they can work. My husband is in the military and is OFTEN deployed with Love, Trust and Communication it's very possible. It is hard but you have to want it in your heart to make it work. One piece of advice, NEVER hang up the phone or write a letter angry. Good luck

In my experience, no. It is hard enough to maintain a relationship in person, let alone with all the miles between you.

They can if you really want them to. I know someone whose boyfriend lived in Korea for almost a year, and that was two years ago! And they're still happy and she's going to teach in France soon. Hope it works out for you!

It depends on the people. If you are willing and want it to work then it will. It will be hard sometimes,but it will all be alright in the end.
