There could be a town I live by has 666 for it's first 3 digits, not the area code but the first 3 after the are code.

yeah that is possible.
Unlikley though, you would have to live in a certain spot. Most phone numbers are based on location, the first 3 numbers mean somethign with location, but I cannot remember.
