Top weight loss tips
Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.
* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.
* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.
* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.
* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.
* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.
* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.
* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.
* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!
* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

I've always had that same build. Did the best when I was taking lots of walks, some short walks & some long walks. It was for a fitness plan at work in which we recorded our minutes of exercise every spring. I also did yoga & rode an exercycle some when it was dark or rainy ($5 for exercycle at a yard sale), but most of it was walks. Gave me leg muscles, a flatter belly, & a hint of a waist. Amazing. (Can't do it now due to problems with legs.) Another alternative is walking laps in the house, dancing to music, or finding something online that you like, such as hip hop, & doing that. So, aerobic is right, but it doesn't have to be running. Can stop & smell the roses or look at plants & ducks in the park, or walk in the mall. Do anything that will keep you enjoying those walks. Or ride a bike. Can also do some upper body stretches. Can use light weights or not. Try those same arm movements that you'd do in swimming or others from some video, just something to build the muscles a little & to feel the waist stretch. I'm suggesting that some of it might be the arm movements from swimming because that will remind you why you're doing it...for how you'll look in a bikini! For how long? 15 min. minimum & longer when you have the time. Make charts to write down your minutes & what you did & add up your time for the week. That's just to give yourself incentive, sort of like using gold stars. The fruit & veggies are also good. Whole grains, too. That will help to keep everything moving. Keep your salt intake down, too, so you'll have less bloating in the belly, which would definitely discourage you in your efforts.

sets of crunches, keep yo legs straight and bring yo toes to the roof and hold it there as long as you can, start out with 3 sets of 10 of these and build up as well as traditional sit ups, crunches and alternate, everyday add 5 to 10 more and try to build up eventually 500 a day, that's what I do and I have a 10 year old son and I'm like you 5"3" 105 lbs and I Love to run, I run 3-5 miles daily. Make sure that your belly is fatty tissue and you don't have scare tissue that can't be shrunk only removed that way you dont get discouraged. best of luck to you

It sounds like you know the way to do it: Good diet (eating well) and exercise. Certainly the type of exercise matters; maybe do more crunches.
There are online food-tracking sites (like MyFoodDiary.com) if you want to have some external tracking/motivation (and community) to tackle the issue.
I'd say maybe try a different form of exercise; a step aerobics class, BOSU ball exercises, or whatever. Local gyms have classes.
Oh... and switch to diet soda. I like the taste of several of them. :)
Best of luck in your battle w/the belly fat!

Try some sort of core routine (ie with exercise ball) - this will work your abs, from all angles and help with the belly fat! Also, try to cut down on sugars, maybe just limit portions of sugars if you can! Good luck!!

Try some 'tummy twisting' exercises..... Loke the good ol' hula hoop... And cross crunches.... And windmills (remember those from elementary school?).... And do some 'guided sit ups. Lke the ab roller or ab lounge. Also, definitely cut back on soda. I am personally addicted to the carbonation, but dasani and aquafina have come out with flavored waters and you can find the carbonated ones..... Then start diluting them to wean yourself off of soda. Eat lots of crunchy veggies and less bloating foods when you feel like snacking. If your food is to blame, try a little fasting (doctor guided if you have health issues). AND, when it comes to exercise, try lots of different things.

Do you want a generic answer? diet and exercise.
If you want a real solution,
Take Hoodia (available at your local vitamin store or drug store).
Take a fat burner (non ephedra to raise your metabolism.
eat no more than 1600 calories per day (8 meals of 200 or at least 5 meals - no less)
exercise 3 to 5 times per day (walk or run)

You need to workout with the stomach area where the fat is. Try crunches. If you've cut back on the soda, cut back all the way and don't drink them at all. Leave cheese out of your diet. Reduce the portions sizes in your meals. Don't eat meals late in the evening. Try joining a gym and work with a trainer to develop a program. And Don't forget to work your stomach area.
