It all comes down to personal preference and what you enjoy. All martial arts have different forms and tactics.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

I am very surprised you are to ask which martial art is better. They, are all the same. Different styles, different attacks, etc. But no matter how long you practice, you will always have a weakness that others will exploit. Pick what you think fits what you want to do.

Do you aim to kill?

Or to defend?

Or to immobilize?

Perhaps personal fitness?

Or...for show?

keep these four questions in mind when you are searching.

My personal favorites are

Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, and Vo Binh Dinh (A type of vietnamese martial art)

The best thing to do with martial arts is to study them all, then take elements that you like from each one and develop your own personal style that makes you happy. Its roughly the same thing legend Bruce Lee did and to me, makes the most sense. You will learn and practice the things you like more than what you don't care for.
If you are serious, the instructor and school is very important as well. Interview several schools in your area and talk to students and see how they like the instructor, then find one you mesh with and will fit in with. Hope it helps!

Asking which one is better is liking asking what is a safe way to divide siamese twins when you are not a doctor. There is not a better only a preference for what will suit you. I am tall I like Jujitsu, Judo, BJJ and kickboxing. They all play to my strengths i can apply locks and escape holds cause I have leverage from being so tall. I like kickboxing cause I have reach and power from being as tall as well.
However, any martial artist knows their very strengths are also their weaknesses. Just as easily as I can apply locks and holds to joints I am also liely to be a victim to them cause of my height and the length of my limbs. Even though i have reach in kickboxing I know if anyone manages to get inside my arms or legs I could find myself staring at the lights from the canvas floor. Find what works for you and what is best for your body as well as mind.

It depends what ur interested in. If you're interested in self-defense, self-confidence, or fitness, I would reccomend Aikido.
