it seems every thursday it is accepted that he will win the upcoming tournament. What do you think?

I don't think we are "just" accepting that Tiger is going to win. Odds are the any tournament Tiger enters makes him the favourite. As the all time money leader, his 52 victories and his 12 majors makes him the one to beat. Many golfers have been quoted as saying when Tiger is playing, everyone else is playing for second.

And the problem with that is? I don't get it - it's not an accept or not accept issue. In any given tournament, the player who plays the best, or who receives more divine intervention, or who just out-golfs the rest of the pack, is going to win. If Tiger is that player, he will win the tournament. What are you going to do, mob the greens and hold up "Tame the Tiger" signs?

Yes. I told my dad on Friday that I don't get as glued to tourneys like I used to, following on-line when not televised. Then he bogeys four straight hole. And was still at the top. And he still wins. Never has a number one golfer been so far ahead of number two:18.98 for Tiger and 9.69 for Phil? That's crazy. Tiger's that good!!

Tiger is the ****! he always will be in the final and if he doesn't win, he is very close to the top! I have watched the tournament he played in this weekend! He kicked it!

Naw. Statistically he loses 3 out of every 4 tournaments.
He'll lose next week from sheer exhaustion. He looked really tired today, is flying to Ireland and back this week, and will be playing for his 3rd week in a row. He's going to be one tired dude so, sadly I think the streak is coming to an end.

it's not surprising that he's always a favorite.
Even his peers know that he'll be at least one of the ones to (try to) beat.
