Hydrogen peroxide--it can do anything! Its cheap, you can find it at Walgreens. And it won't damage the fabric. 50/50 spray it on and lightly scrub. Its like color safe bleach--not harsh. I'm a house wife with 4 kids under the age of 10...trust me!

For crimson wine we use salt initially to take up the surplus left, scoop that up and then we sprayed a vinegar and lemon juice blend on the stain and patted it into the stain. Left for 20mins and sopping wet in water, sponged it up, repeat the drenging 3 or 4 situations. Repeat the completed technique if the stain is soaked in or fairly obdurate. Pre-treat dry fabric with a laundry pre-soak (spot stain remover) prior to washing with a quality laundry product in the usual way. Alternative treatment: sponge with equal quantities of methylated spirits (wood alcohol) and water. Old or obstinate stains may be softened in glycerine before treatment as above.

I think if you used any washing powder and some water, it will do the job for you. You do not really need a stain remover.

I would try oxyclean. The powder has to be mixed with warm water to be most effective, but it does come in a spray bottle, too. If it's on a cushion, you can unzip the cover and wash it separately.

Just put a little laundry soap on the stain and rub it in before putting it in the washing machine...wash as normal..should come right out.
