Love is "blind" in the sense that it doesn't make any distinctions among anyone--the unconditional love found in Jesus does not play favorites. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 puts this very well:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
So in this sense, yes, love is blind.

love is not blind, the people that are in love are blind, when you love someone you like to think of only the best in that person, so when they don something they should not do we like to act blind, because if we don't see it than it is not true.

no. in the Holy Bible, it asserts that God is love. our human understanding has led us to construct the expression that 'love is blind' because thats how fools act when they are IN LOVE.
when u love someone, the true form of love, you love them warts and all, thats how most old married couples have stayed together, because they know each other's faults but are willing to tolerate each others differences.
When u have puppy love, and that first feelings of love, its called being IN LOVE. that sort of love is not true love, true love sets in after some time. being IN LOVE is just an initial attraction.
God is love, and love is perfect, therefore love cannot be blind. As a Christian i partake in the ideology of love that God has revealed to me, and with this powerful force, I can make a difference wherever I am, wherever i go, whatever i do, now that is AMAZING, a most amazing form of love.

Love is blind... But love is what you have after you've known a person. You need lust to get to that staage, and it is not so blind.

Yes. The blind part comes in when we KNOW the other person has faults and shortcomings, but we love them in spite of them. That must be TOTALLY blind!!!

I thought I knew what love was until I became a Dad. Love for your kids is real, all powerful, and blind.

Which Love?
-God?
-Friend?
-Marriage?
God's love is not blind. It's common sense.
You can love, but not to the point of losing your head.
Love is to do good and not evil.
To love yourself, is to value who You really are in God's eyes, a precious jewel.
