liquor does not go bad per say
wine, if not sotred properly will turn to vinegar, and beer will turn to dog pizz, but spirits will last a mighty long time
put it this way, in the 60's my dad put away a bottle of crown royal for each of his childrens first born child, and I believe I was the last to receive said bottle, just a few years ago, the stuff is absolutely fabulous

It will not go bad, although if you leave it open the alcohol will evaporate an that will leave a bad tasting watter in the bottle.

I think the longer you let it age, the better it would taste and the stronger it would be. But if it's already been opened, I'd toss it.

Only wines will turn to vinegar.
Just keep the caps tight, and should last until you drink it.
