There is not always pain associated reflux, I didn't know until I went to my doctor. Disguised symtoms would be a sore throat which a lot of people mistake as post nasal drip as I did. One of the most unreconized symtoms is chronic bad breath. Not saying that all the other symtoms are not common. But the ones that I listed as well are ones that people don't take as a systom. If you are getting constant burning especially after eating, acid based foods, greasy foods, and foods with caffine woudl be definate reflux. YOu can also get spasms in your stomach and in your esphogus area as well. Smoking and drinking do not help as well. It is best to see a doctor and have them determine what is the best way to heal. Reflux can be maintained by a healthy diet and exercise and lots of water to help break down the food.

This is coming from someone who had it for a year.
You will get stomach pains like never before. You'll pass them off as gas pains at first but they get really intense. There have been times where I have broke out in sweat and had to squeeze a towel to get through it.
Another thing to expect is the feeling of nausea. For me it was almost all day that I felt I was about to throw up. Everytime it was just gas.
Heartburn ties in with that too. The acid and gas will travel up yo your throat so you feel first as if your going to throw up then as if your throat is getting burned. It really hurts but is nothing compared to the stomach pains.
My doctor put me on pepcid ac for a month twice a day and it cured it.
Be sure to run it by your doctor though, its serious and everyone is different so your doctor is the only one that can officially diagnose and treat you.
Good luck and don't worry you'll get through those pains (if you have them)!
