OK, I know people probably ask this question constantly here, but I want to know what you think. I don't want to see any Pat's or Gino's here, that's tourist trash and you know it, I want to know where is YOUR favorite cheesesteak served?
To start things off, I love Gooey Louie's on Moyamensing, because they are juicy and have incredible amounts of meat.

Everyone has their favorite cheesesteak place. I think the best one nowadays is a place in the called DALESSANDRO'S STEAKS in Roxborough. Another place that's good is in the Northeast called Chink's.

there is this place waaaaay out on the main line, like waaaaay out exton, and they have really good cheesesteak, but i forgot the name. one time i was there and i didnt have any cash, so i whipped out my credit card, but they dont take credit cards, so i was like, oh crap, i told them i would run to the atm and come back. they said no, i could just get 'em back next time i was there, and they didnt even know me or anything. anyways, i did go back later that day and paid them. but the cheesesteak was the best ever.

I agree, but New York Steakhouses stay the best to me.

Max's Diner San Francisco (and other places) Has the most phenominal cheesestaeak.
