I remembre reading I should only eat a certain type of whole wheat for my diet, and that most supermarkets carry more of the opposite kind. So could anybody tell me if they know which kind I should be eating and which brands have them?

You should talk to your doctor or the dietician that put you on that diet . It varies with different diets.

try to find the low crab whole wheat, does are thin slices and the better for you. But really good for you would be NO BREAD
Use lettuce leaves instead and roll you meat or chees in there. Try it not bad.
