U can go to a salon & have them comb a perm (permanent wave solution) through ur hair. It's just like the perm u got b4 except w/o perm rods. It is a repeat of the chemical process so u r inviting damage. The other "perm" mentioned in other answers isn't a perm it's a chemical relaxer/straightner. African - Americans usually refer 2 it in slang as a perm. DON'T get a chemical relaxer/straightener! U don't need that strong of a chemical process 2 get rid of a perm. While ur @ the salon buy some pro hair care products 2 properly care for ur very chemically treated hair. U can try Sleek by Matrix.

I don't no about silky straight, but i do no that if u've over permed, the best way is to blow it dry. Whenever u want the curl gone, wet or shampoo if needed and just use a hair dryer. it works. Thank God!

Mine isnt permed, but its VERY naturally curly..the best way that Ive found is to dry it straight with a round brush, after applying a heat styler to protect it. Then, after its dry, you can buy "sleek-look" heat tamer and apply it all over your hair. Part it into sections, and use a ceramic (works best) straightening iron to flatten it out. The heat tamer works GREAT on making it totally sleek and sexy. After that, you can curl the ends if you want or just leave it TOTALLY straight in whatever style you like. GOOD LUCK DOLL!

Why did you perm it in the 1st place? If you like to change your mind so much, why don't you start using temporary tools (flat irons and curling/spiraling irons) that won't fry your tresses? If you love to live in both the world of curly and the land of straight, I would NOT suggest chemicaly treating your hair anymore.

Good Luck!

You should either cut it of or try the tressema Shampoo and conditioner. It really help.
But if u have enough time in the morning you could get the straightener and straighten out your hair =D

get a ceramic flat iron. ceramic holds the heat longer and is better on your hair. and not one at Walmart (they do not work). as for the silky part -- after you straighten it...put on some gloss drops by Redken...works like a charm!!!!!!!
