You can check it with the U.S embassy in the country that you stay and you can obtain the info about U.S. Visa from the U.S. Embassy. The people will give you the detail about the quota that your country has. So far I know that 200,000 HIB visa were obtained this year and it gone.But you can find out more through the embassy or Immigration and Naturalization web site. Remember there are so many visas to enter the U.S. Meanwhile I have been told Canada is also very easy to obtain than the U.S. because, we have 12 millions undocumented people and they are not paying their shares so the immigration is in the processing to clean up at this point. if you qualify then it will take you longer 5 to 10 years,I urge you to apply through Canada then you can go through U.S. from there and it is less headache, Good luck.

We have enough Occupational Therapists here. If you were a nurse RN I could give you some help but your not so stay in your country and help your own people.
