Only one time that I can remember.

My previous landlords are Hindu. One weekend, their brother asked if I could take him to charlotte to do some shopping. No problem. We got into town & he directed me to the various stores, one of which was an Indian grocer.

I didn't think much about it, went in to pick up a few snacks for the trip back home.

I didn't get four steps in the door when I smelled this absolutely repugnant fragrance - something akin to burning flesh. I asked him about it & he swore he didn't smell anything.

I couldn't get any further in the store. Something made me almost immobile. I had a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomache. The hairs on my arms prickled. I developed an almost instantaeous splitting headache.

It was only when I stepped back outside & looked through the windows that I noticed all the books, videos & CDs, and figurines all over the store. There were dry goods & other groceries, but the majority of the goods were directed towards the worship of the different Hindu gods.

I've never been in another place like that, & won't go unless I have to for some reason.

After I fell away for 10 years & prayed again. God shined His light on me. The devil was around. I felt an evil blanket. It was a horrible time.

The devil inspires all antichrist religions. The devil can appear an angel of light to deceive.

The devil inspires all false prophets.

Devil is a destroyer, liar, slanderer, thief & murderer since the beginning. The devil even sows bad seed in some christian churches that have the good seed (Word of God).

I know that I am going to get slammed for this but I think that the Roman Catholic Church is inspired by the devil. Before I get slammed let me say why.

1. The pope is supposed to be God's representative on earth, but Jesus said that the Holy Spirit is His earthly representative.

2. Catholics need to go to church and confess to a priest ( a mere man) who then tells you to light candles and chant. How can this be correct when Jesus said in Matthew 6:7, " But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."

3. The Sabbath was set at the time of creation. The Lord said, "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (Exodus 20:8)." Even Exodus 35:2 says, "Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death." This was not a suggestion this was an order from God, but the Roman Catholic Church changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.

4. Revelation 17 talks about a woman dressed in purple and red riding a dragon with seven heads and driunk from the blood of saints and maytrs of Jesus Christ that is the Mother of Harlots. In bible prophesy a woman symbolizes a church and head symbolizes a mountain or hill. Sitting on seven hills of Rome, no other church has as many denominations ("daughters") born out of her as the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). The church leadership is divided between the cardinals and the bishops/archbishops. The offical uniform color of the cardinals is red and the offical uniform color of the bishops/archbishops is purple. The RCC has murdered millions of Christians. Even Catholics believe that one day there will be an evil pope who will be partners with the antichrist. The word vactican means the hill or mountain of prophesy.

I am not being jugdemental, I can't be. I grew up as a Lutheran (a daughter of the harlot). I'm nondenominational now. I make sure that everything I hear at church is biblically based. I research the information given to me. I hope everyone will start doing the same. Everything that I said is easily research on the internet.

Hatred and fear are the devils that afflict us. Love and courage are the only defenses.

I see those who have surrendered, here daily. But there are still a few with love and courage enough to carry on another day.

You are mistaken if you think any major religion has a corner on these devils. They are part of each human and you see them best when you witness the mob howling for blood.

Fear and Hatred. They are not easy to miss.

I really doubt I have been in the presence of the devil. Satan unlike God is not omnipresent, he can only be in one place at a time and I figure he's got bigger fish to fry than me. Now whether or not I've been in the presence of one of his minions, who knows. And yes I think there are several as well. Though I have no desire to name them all.

He is the prince of the power of the air, the prince of darkness. He's not in hell yet. He roams the earth looking for whom he shall devour. Paul said whenever he goes to do good...evil is present. you know who that evil is? The presence of the devil. Anybody that teaches anything less than your best for Jesus, would be my answer. Want to be truly happy beyond words. Answer when the Lord deals with you. You want mistake this moment. For the grace of God that bringeth Salvation hath appeared unto all men teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously and Godly in this present world.

This is a dangerous question.
However, I believe that Islam is inspired by Satan. It denies the divinity of Christ and denies His completed mission on earth. It is also a religion of hate and violence. Read any book, that takes a realistic view of the religion of Islam and it will confirm this. Just look at their fruits. Christ said, "You will know them by their fruit"
Right now we are in a war, because of what Mohammad taught. What other religion states, if they don't convert they must die.

Also, the Mormon religion. They deny that Christ was who he said He was. They say that he was a brother of Satan. They said he was married and had children. They also, will be known by their fruit. Look at their teachings and look at how they still have many followers who still hold to polygamy. Look at how their religion changes depending on the rulings of their modern day "Apostles".

the devil or satan or whatever else you manifest as a supreme evil being is a christian creation and by all means please let the christians keep him. In paganism (note i am wiccan) the devil does not exists. We do not have need for a supreme evil deity to blame our wrongdoings on. I do whats right simply because it is the right thing to do. And any wrong I do, I take responsibility for and reap the karmatic effects myself. I have no need to blame an evil deity.

What devil? God is all powerful......it is us humans that do evil and inspire evil. Evil is the absence of God and our separation from God. We all have the capability to be good and evil. We make the choice. The spiritual battle is within us....not with a little guy with horns. If you have "felt" evil around you then it might be your struggle with your darker nature. Free will is a difficult thing to deal with.
