I am single for the first time in years and in some ways i like it but eventually i would like to find that special someone but there is nothing wrong with being single-I can do what I want when I want and don't have to clear it with anyone. On the other hand, there is also no one to share those special times with either. There is good and bad things about both.

I don't mind either way. When you're single, you can do whatever you want and don't have to answer to anyone. Then on the other hand, I love relationships because it's nice to like someone a lot and know that they like you back. The comfort is awesome, I prefer to be with someone but I don't mind being single.

Being single has it's advantages, I figure you need to complete your singleness before entering into a relationship. Some singles tend to become to self centred as well and it becomes difficult to change once you in a solid relationship. So you need to know when that season in your life is complete. Don't rush, some of us are to scared to spend time with ourselves, enjoy being single, while it's there !!

Many people enjoy the independence of being single. I for one, prefer to travel alone. There's less responsibility and you're free to do your own thing with consult.
But as much as people might enjoy solitude, it brings with it loneliness. Having friends is good, but it doesnt necesarily fill all you need. Someone once said the reason we look for partners is to have a witness to our lives, and I truly believe that.
You can see the most amazing sights, but its harder to enjoy when nobody else can understand.

Being single takes a lot of getting used to, but it is great. I was married 20 years and raised my kids. Now I enjoy having my time to myself. No one tells me what to do!

being single is a state of mind, even if you have someone and its not the one, you are as good as being single maybe even better. its good to know you are great with someone... make it last. i don't like being alone myself but at times you just need to focus in a different way...
