You ring a bell and they salivate. You say 'abortion' and steam comes out of their ears.

Other than the Abrahmic religions, what are some other religions that require you to be indoctrinated once per week or encourage you to attend periodic "study" sessions?

I whole heartedly support prayer in schools. More kids need to be exposed to the teachings of FSM.

well, pavlov theorized about patterns of conditioning. so, you could draw parrallels between pavlov and any human social group. or pavlov and animals, etc etc etc.
However, in this case i must also point out that if a christian has steam coming out of their ears (figuratively speaking) at the word abortion, you are talking about socialization, not conditioning. so, i dissagree with these specific parrallels that you've drawn. Yes, there is a difference. one is psychological conditioning. the other is social conditioning.

Interesting....I'm a Christian and Pro-choice.....steam has yet to come out of my ears except when some old foggie in office wants to take my rights away. That's not to say I would choose abortion for me, but it should be a choice for others. A lack of choice will end up causing many many problems.

Yes there is a difference I do it on 2 legs and they do it on 4. They have a tail, and I have a butt. I don't answer the door, and steam has never come out of my ears. You have me confused with religious fanatics. Although I don't like abortion, I feel their are others that are willing to adopt, so give them and the baby a chance at happiness.

Just say Jesus and they start dribbling is what I find...learn to use it to your advantage as most manipulative television evangelists already do.
After years of trying to warn people off of religion maybe I'm thinking I'm wasting my time and they crave to be exploited...after all who am I to judge?

I think you have become as frustrated with fundamentalism of all stripes - as I have. There is no room for healthy, lively debate, only laws that are beyond question in their minds. This is the bedrock of fanaticism and intolerance.
I'm beginning to feel that humanity is a failed experiment. We fight and kill each other over what we describe as a "loving and peaceful" god. Madness. Pure and simple.

So I guess that would follow with atheists to. If I were to say that perhaps we should reinstate prayer in schools.

Boy, this is mature. You really make non-christians look soooo much better by behaving like this. *When* does school start?
