14 year old 165 5'6 male. i guess im active since i do tae bo 30 minutes a day 5 days a week but i want to make sure im not eating too many calories.

You should need about 2850-3000 calories per day. Your needs are high since you are active, you are male, and you are still growing. Make sure you make healthy food choices, such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and low-fat dairy on a regular basis. You should also be drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration since you are exercising 5 x per week. Keep up the good work!

Well on the Nutrition Facts label on food, it always says based on a 2,000 calorie diet, so maybe that much would be good? Since you're active as well, you could probably eat more than just 2,000.
