If simplying on a hug he gets hard indicates his lust not love. Love is a true spirit without physical relation.

guys take a long time to get hard, long enough that it wouldnt happen while he hugged you. If you some how know he is always hard while with you, he probably wants to have intercourse with you, this normally means he also wants a relationship with you

Guys get hard on's when the wind blows. Dont use that as a sign that he really likes you. Its when the hard on is ignored is when you know he really likes you.

when i was in high school i had a hard time controlling my hard ons they would hit me while in math class or even in P.E. and yes even with the girl i was seeing at that time . she always got a kick out of it when she was able to get me up. so to answer you question? he has no control over it .. but if the mood strike him it will go up.. i hope that answer you question,,

I think sometimes guys can't control it. Sometimes they just really like somebody and can't control what's going on. Honestly I think that "it" can have a mind of its own.

well do you hang out with him often? does he flirt with you? he probably has sexual feelings for you and likes the pressure against his body. he might like you , i wouldn't doubt it :)
