I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, not a member of any denomination...I can be at home in any of them. He offers a Gift to humanity, pardon from all things that would separate you from the Living God, an opportunity of a second chance at Life, a Destiny in Eternity, and the Holy Spirit to enable and teach what it is to be a part of His Body on the Earth, a Spiritual Body. I'm not saying this is the right way to be, I am saying that this opportunity is offered to all.

As a Christian there are certain things in the Bible that I don't follow. For example in the OT, women on their periods were considered unclean and should not sleep in their bed, be intimate with their husband, etc. Taking this literally as many people do would be a bit silly. There are even some things in the NT that I don't buy. Now, I had someone tell me that either you believe the whole bible as it is, or you feel it's a load of poo. There is no gray area. I think that is a pretty narrow minded point of view. There is always a gray area....especially with something written so long ago, with parts missing, etc. I guess I was confused with your question though.....did you want people who follow it loosely to answer how they make people who are strict less strict, or vice versa? Either way, it's going to end up as an arguement. I did not discuss my views with the person I mentioned above because he would've fought with me the whole night and that's not what my faith is about.

I know what you are doing. It is called driving a wedge through a belief. Since you cannot break the fallen tree trunk in the middle of the road and you can't go around it. You make cracks and holes and eventually you make the holes big enough that you break and shatter the basis for their belief system. You aren't interested in the ones who loosely believe in God because they do not follow the the religion enough so they are still confused enough you can break them easy. No, you want the ones that have a solid understanding of their faith in God. Then you try to make a dent in their logic because God already said certain things you are not meant to understand. Based on that you try to break them. That is exactly what your question is about. You try to define the question so that the person reading it has no where to go but where you want them to go. Then ask a question that defines who you are and asks you to question yourself. An example is like the serpent and Eve in Genesis. So I say the same thing Jesus said when Satan tried to tempt Him: Get away from me Satan.

I'm Muslim and I believe in every word in the Qur'an 100%...In Islam there are somethings which are static and all Muslims agree on...They are the basics of Islamic faith or "Aqida"..other things different Muslim groups have multiple different opinions about and some other are fixed and called the Islamic laws or "Shariia"...So every Muslim believes 100% in Aqida and they differ between each other in Shariia.

Im Nondenominational and I believe the Bible...
I do not always agree or understand everything but I dont discount it as wrong based on my opinion. If it says something and to me it doesnt make sense or seems unfair or makes me say "I wouldn't do it like that" doesnt mean it IS wrong, it just means I dont think the same way God does. For example the Bible says drunkeness is wrong, if I personally dont see why it would be wrong, I dont try and say the Bible is wrong, or try to change what it says. I remember its not MY book but God's and He made the rules, not me, and I cannot change them. I just admit He knows what He's doing better than I do and move on.

I am a devout Catholic. I attend Mass every Sunday and am actively involved in my Church. I don't believe in all the teachings of the Church. Throughout history the Catholic Church has been wrong many times. Pope John Paull II even apologized for Church mistakes. I am a mature, educated adult and I believe in teachings and doctrines that do not discriminate or hurt one's self or another human being. Ya know, kinda like how Jesus acted throughout Scripture.

I check everything out. I only believe that which I have proven to myself from the scriptures. If I were to find that my religion was saying something contrary to the Bible, I would move on.
So far, so good!
Of course, they make a lot of adjustments themselves, as they do further research into the scriptures, so that is what I like.

The penalty follows.
Deuteronomy 21:
20And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
21And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
Most governments thankfully will not allow it.

I have faith in God, the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives me discernment regarding doctrines. I believe the Holy Bible the inspired Word of God. The Holy Spirit confirms that in my Spirit, when I pray to God about it and inquire God. God loves His Book.
There are other writers who write things God revealed to them in their spirit from the Holy Bible. I can discern their writings to be true.
Other false doctrines are discerned by if they deny the Father & the Son. Do they change the definition of Salvation (eternal life) and that Jesus shed His blood for the remission of our sins. So when we confess Jesus Christ LORD & believe in our heart He rose from the dead we receive eternal life. Through heart faith. This is the power of God. Jesus Christ saving Power. Do they deny the power of the Holy Spirit.
I follow God. I trust & obey God to the best of my understanding.
God has given me wisdom above my teachers. Who is the Spirit of Truth who leads me into all truth and is not a liar.

the most devout one are the hardest to change for G-D . G-D is not short armed he will get his part were still praying for more workers. it is the time to leave Babylon in a hurry which is all that keeps romish way's.
