Some of them may be willing to provide beverage alcohol to guests, maybe, even though they don't drink it themselves? Or work in the hospitality industry, and have to be knowledgable?
Or perhaps they're wanting to know more about Demon Rum and what they're missing---"know your enemy" (snarky answer).

Even though they don't drink, they may have knowledge from past experience either personally or through someone close to them. I rarely cook anymore cause my husband wants to spare me the trouble (he won't believe I enjoy cooking) but my favorite subject is the Cooking and Recipes under the Food and Drink section because I like to share. Maybe they just want to share too.
