I really hate it, when they say this to me, when I ask them on a date. Maybe it's my modesty or shyness, since I was never the pretty, athletic, smart or popular type.
What's their real interpretation on it? Men, get ready to answer them:

"I just want to be friends",
"I'm not interested",
"I'm studying",
"I'm busy."

Girls, you can think of any others that guys have said to you, post it and let the guys answer it for us.

It is not always the pretty or smart girl that men are attracted to. Have you ever seen the most handsome guy with a girl you thought he was too good for? Well, it turns out this girl knows something we don't . He probably was the one to pursue her. If ladies make guys feel like they are the ones to pursue and chase. I think females would be a lot better off. Those above statements usually mean that you have turned them off with appearing overly anxious to hook up. Whatever happened to an innocent smile? Women are way to aggressive these days. It is like I know we are equal but we are still different. We were made this way. I enjoy it and do not fight it.

men aren't sophisticated. they mean just what they say. the latter three replies also means that's they aren't attracted to you.

men pay a lot of attention to looks, are you at least thin? you can also try to educated yourself in sports and be nice to get more attention.
