Sinning wouldn't be so popular if people were perfect.

Let's face it. Your idea of sinning is someone else's idea of getting some instant gratification. Nobody is above pleasing themselves, not even you. The descriptions of what is pleasing vary, but the outcome is the same. Your panties get wet for Jesus and mine get wet from stealing a CD off the internet. It's all relative.

You wanna be religious? You wanna ponder something? How about this...stop pointing fingers and figure out how you can make YOURSELF better. Ponder the fact that YOU are not perfect either.

Everyone could use a little dose of "Holy ****, I Really Act Like That?" Even you.

Not Jesus, though. He is the only one who should be pointing fingers.

Hello!! :o) I hope you're OK. I agree completely. In some ways - it's like the difference between paying in cash and using a credit card. I often wonder if I'd be so willing to buy something IF I had to hand someone CASH for everything I wanted. The reason the penalty for sins is not immediate [most of the time] is yet another example of God's love. In fact - one of the greatest gifts God gives to us IS time. Time to turn from our sins and time to accept Jesus. But that time does end - as we know - for we all die. Craig!! :o)

Isn't the deadliest sin... Pride? Can some of the Christians answering here really spare themselves the fiery pit for such displays of smug complacency? You take it upon yourself to judge what someone else does as a sin, it sure is easy to feel superior. That's a sin.

Since the Bible says everyone's a sinner, I'm curious to hear how much you'd received for your evil deeds. Do tell.

Despite the judgmental tone I detect in this question, you do make an interesting point.

Good point, I am glad the wages aren't paid by us immediately though.

Jesus paid the penalty for our sins when He died on the cross!
This does not mean that we are not responsible for our own sins it just means that we can ask for forgiveness when we do sin! This is what is called Grace!

Well, it certainly wouldn't be so popular, if the pleasure was not there.

But, the pleasure is only temporary.

You can have a little pleasure now or a lot later, different kind of pleasure though.

Yep. I agree with you 100%. People are wagering that they get a free pass on their sins. Too bad it has to be this way.
