I believe that in reality there is no gender difference in the holy trinity, or angels. In the time the Bible was written men in control of everyday religious and spiritual decisions so things were written as Males for everything. There is some debate by some, (not me) that people like Mary Magdalene were disciples in their own right. God can't be described on human terms so calling him Father was best words to try and describe him. Jesus Christ is God the Son, and he was born a Male.

Gender-terms are basically masculine in regards to God, not because of physical form, but because of function in the relation between God and Humanity. Both aspects of the sexes are present in God; this can be seen in the Creation account, where God makes humans in His own image: male and female!
Maleness/femaleness is not just in the organs: it is best understood in the way the two sexes interact in the act of reproduction. The male initiates, gives, imparts. The female responds, recieves, bears.
God gave life to the Universe and Humankind. When He touches us it is always in a "giving" capacity: life, word, blessing, judgement, grace, healing. When we approach God, it is always in a "receptive" or "responsive" capacity. We recieve life, healing, love, joy, guidance, etc.
Here is the kicker. When humans approach God, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR GENDER, we are always the FEMALE. We are made to respond to and recieve God.
So much for the "he-man-woman-hater's club" amongst the "christian" camp. TO REALLY WORSHIP GOD, WE MUST BE IN TOUCH WITH OUR FEMININE SIDE!!!
BTW, there were women amongst the disciples also. The 12 were all male, it is true, but there were women in the camp as well. Jesus' defending a woman's place beside him (as a disciple) is a famous story (Mary & Martha).
Angels have no gender. They perhaps show up as "male" in order to get the attention of a male-oriented society member. How many women are going to appear scary to a Bronze-age warrior? Yet, the angels always had to say "don't be afraid!"

They are not literal males. These are terms that humans would understand. The writer could have chosen them to be called females if he wanted to, but it was a patriarchal society. Not all of Jesus disciples were males, by the way. Many evangelizers were women. Go read your Bible where Paul mentions all men and women are equal in heaven. And Jesus mentions that men and women will be "just as angels in heaven", implying that angels do not have a male or female gender.

You seem to be a candidate for something other than what I call The Big Three. Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
Take a look at some of the polytheistic religions like Hinduism. You are sure to find your answer there because polytheistic religions recognize Gods, Goddesses, their offspring and our mirrored human condition.

Jesus said we often make mistakes because we don't know the WORD. He said " there is no marriage in Heaven", because we become beings in balance between the masculine and feminine
spiritual forces, and no longer have physical aspects of these things.
All the HE/SHE is an ego trip. In that our Creator is complete.
And things don't break down into what we understand as the
masculine and feminine aspects, until the Lifeforce leaves the Creator.

Thats simple. People like Paul the apostle were sick of the goddesses like Isis in Egypt, Ishtar in Iraq, and many others and the way women had a nice place in society, so they decided to inflict their patriarchal views on everyone and make everything male superiority to give them more social status. Now look at the mess we are in!!!!!!!!!

I only accept that there is G-d, the father. G-d is G-d. G-d is one.I like to think that the mother is Mother Earth. They blend so well together, and earth is in perfect harmony with G-d's plan But, there is only one G-d to worship.
I do believe I have an Angel on each shoulder to help me along the way. But, I never questioned if they are male or female. They are entities.

Eve was the one who got Adam in all the trouble, in the first place.
Women have been in a secondary role ever since.
Gen 3:16 To the woman also he said: I will multiply thy sorrows, and thy conceptions: in sorrow shalt thou bring forth children, and thou shalt be under thy husband's power, and he shall have dominion over thee.
On the plus side, the Blessed Virgin Mary is revered because of her humility and holiness, and her utter devotion to her son, Jesus.
There's no creature anywhere, male, female, or angelic, who is more deserving of praise than Mary.
That may give you a clue as to what type of women God truly appreciates.
