I always knew I'd have kids, so God could teach me patience and to make me a better person, by putting others ahead of myself. Now that I have them, they teach me new things every day (like unconditional love) :)

You are right! I wish I could give you ten points. I swear dumb people should be neutered.
Here are my reasons:
1. A kid CANNOT be an accident
2. Someone who is mature (not just old) and wishes to start a family of his/her own
3. Sometimes one has too much time in your hands and you wish you could do something useful with it.
4. You have shared responsabilities and suceed as a responsable person and wish to have the joyful responsability of taking care of a child
5. Some of us rather be on a playground kicking dirt with a kid than picking up whore.s at a club
6. Hanging out with a kid allows you to do the goofiest things ever and they always find it funny (especially when you get hurt)
7. Knowing that a child feels completely safe with you its a feeling no one can take away.

I can keep going but I think its getting boring now. By the way, I dont have a kid of my own... I hope someday I'll have one

The greatest thing you can do is to bring a life into the world. Children are sweet, honest and a joy. Looking back you want see them take the world and make it better. They are hard work but I cant wait. They love unconditionally no matter what you do they love unconditionally.

lol. lame. I want a to have children someday so I can raise another being intelligently and wisely in todays crappy world. Plus, it might be nice to be a mother. However, I'm more likely going to adopt, than have all my own kids. I'm not so selfish I need my own genes to continue in life, but I might have one birth kid. Beh.

I wanted to be blessed with children because it is such a miracle and contribution to society. I wanted to love someone and guide and teach them as they grow. I have 5 kids.

Because kids are fun to have around and they teach you so much as well. I think having children lets you be a kid at times as well. You get to watch them grow and learn and as they get older, you can see yourself in them. Kids are great!

One of my co-workers, when asked, answered "It's a part of life."

He's right. It is. You don't get the full life experience without having kids.

Another co-worker commented that all the friends she had she'd met through her children, i.e. other parents, teachers, kiddie coaches.
