Do you want the silver to look more metallic , grey or platinum?

Direct pigments ( color that just sits on the surface of the hairs cuticle) such as Halloween hair color sprays are the only ones that you will be able to achieve a silvery metallic look to the hair.

And you can find that at most halloween stores or party stores.

As for something a little more permanent. you will have to lift your natural color level to the lightest level of blonde and use professional color to deposit that grey or silver you are looking for!

Wherever you find it, keep in mind that you will need to bleach out the hair entirely before applying the silver hair dye.

You won't. Closest you can do is bleach as light as you can get it, then put a platinum toner over it.
