Wet your hair and wrap it in a warm towel for 10 min. Put cholesterol treatment on it and lather it in. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly, and continue with your usual hair routine.

Mayonnaise great hair treatment. You need to use the real thing -- no Miracle Whip allowed. Put a lot, and I mean a lot on your hair, and leave it on for an hour, if you can. Wrap your hair in plastic, then a towel to keep it warm. It will drip a lot, and it's pretty messy, but it's a very effective treatment. Rinse it out thoroughly when you're done.

Three things:
1) Use the Garnier Hair treatment mask. Leave it in for 5 mins, then wash out as normal
or 2) if you want a home remedy try mayonnaise. Sounds weird, but it works...
or 3) coconut oil - use it after your shampoo, leave in for a few minutes, then rinse well
Good luck!

Look for hot oil treatments you can do at home, check shampoos for a low Ph number and stay away from home coloring for awhile.

You'll think it is silly but it worked for me. I have long hair. I took 3 eggs, 4 teaspoons of mayo and mixed it up. I layered it on my hair for 1 hour. It was much softer.

Try mashed avocado, or eggs. If you use eggs, wash with water at room temp mixed with a little vinegar. If you use hot water, you'll have scrambled eggs in your hair. They both help with dryness and shine, but I prefer the avocado more.
